Last year we were with them in Hamburg and this year, it’s the charming city of Madrid. A few hundred hoteliers from the member hotels of WORLDHOTELS attended and it was like a huge reunion seeing many familiar faces and catching up with old friends.

The photocards we printed left them a souvenir which hopefully reminds them of the fun time they had especially when most of them are just catching each other after a whole year.

There were many serious topics discussed but the speakers were witty and engaging and made the conference more lively.

Their first night was a gala dinner held offsite at a beautiful restaurant.

It was great to meet up with Karthik Siva & Yvonne from Singapore. Karthik is the founder of the Global Brand Forum and even after hearing this talk on branding for a few times already, it has never failed to inspire. One of the key points mentioned was “A brand is a set of memories”.. I hope the photography and photocards we’ve provided helps to remind them of the wonderful memories everyone had in Madrid.

Someone also showed me a photocard of last year’s conference in Hamburg. They formed the text “WORLDHOTELS” on the table with Coffee Beans and it turned out to be one of my favourite shots.

Wired as it used to be call is now “Web in Travel”. The 2 day conference brought about a host of experts and industry veterans.
